We started our clear up a week ago and we are now very excited to show the fruits of our labour. We started by clearing the entrance of the allotment, this helped us ease the access to the first plot which was next to be cleared.
With the help of volunteers, community payback and Six Town Housing the first plot on our community allotment is now visible, it took 7 skips to clear and is now ready to be turned over in preparation for the first plants to be planted.
The next step of our project is to remove some dilapidated sheds from the area, we will then look to hire a rotavator to turn over the first few plots.
